Description

DJ 1877 name/num correlation shows Harris’s Chapel is No. 14 in Third Election District, which was Tuckahoe Neck.   DJ 1885 announces that Harris’s School name is changed to Cedar Grove.   DJ 1896 expenditure list says school board still uses old election district numbering.  But 1875 map shows districts 1-5 – no Dist 6.  1897 map shows Dist 6 in Tuckahoe Neck, and Cedar Grove is indeed shown there at jct MD 328 and Tuckahoe Rd.  Harris Chapel across the road.
